I visited the Mission in San Juan Cpistrano, CA in November and was amazed to see the garden in full bloom. The variety of roses was astounding and gave the whole place a nice splash of color.

When it' snot tourist season the Mission is not that crowded and the perfect place to sit down with a sketch pad to doodle around. I love these benches that are surrounded by all these fragrant plants.
