Pillnitz Palace and Gardens

Building Facade Detail


While in Dresden we took the ferry to the Pillnitz palace. Set against the river Elbe, this palace is a beautiful example of East Asian architecture and landscape design. Constructed in the early 18th century it became the foundations for one of Europe's most significant Chinese style architectural structures.
