Cat Portrait Is Finished

Tabby Cat Portrait

The Tabby Cat portrait is almost done and now dry to the touch. I still need to add the varnish and then it can be sent off to its new home. I have added a lot of textural brushwork and brought out the shadow areas that looked too dark to me.

I used the same colors of the background to transition a foreground and ground the cat. I think the orange, yellow and beige tones contrast nicely against the blues. 

Now I need to get the final approval of the client and it's varnish time.
