Custom Painting of a 1984 Mazda RX-7

This is a custom painting order for a painting of a 1984 Mazda RX-7 against the Austin City backdrop. My original photo reference is very dark, but my client has provided me with additional photos to bring back the red, brown paint job of this car. Because the photo was taken at night time the original photo hs a lot of extreme dark areas. I am taking a more painterly approach to this and am working on bringing definition out of the dark shadows. Still have a lot more to do ...
