"I can happily spend hours coaxing out the tiniest details in a painting, but there is something especially joyful about this current commission. I’m using Rublev Impasto Medium to build up rich texture and depth, allowing this chocolate Labrador to slowly emerge from the canvas.

Each layer adds a bit more personality and warmth to the piece. I’m already picturing the smiles on the owners' faces when this final portrait is revealed. It’s that exact moment of connection that makes the hours at the easel so rewarding.
