How to make Spaetzle

spaetzle
"Spaetzle" are little German dumplings similar to " Nokedli" in Hungary and "Nocken" in Austria. They make a wonderful side-dish and are also tasty just on their own or mixed with mushrooms or cheese. The basic spaetzle recipe calls for:

4 Eggs
1/3 cup milk
2 tsp salt
2 cups flour
Directions:
  1. In a medium size pot boil some water.
  2. Whisk together four eggs, 1/3 cup milk, 2 teaspoons salt, and 2 cups flour
  3. Boil some water, then put the handy tool over the top of the pot.
  4. Pour half the batter into the cup and slide it back and forth so the batter falls through in little droplets.
