French Provincial Cupboard Miniature Tutorial

Miniature Cupboard

Work continues on the upper floor of the toy shop and I decided to share how I made the French provincial cupboard in a video tutorial. The front of the doors opens up and there are 3 shelves for storage and display.

Cut the following wooden pieces (all measurements are in cm) :

Cabinet base

2 pieces - 2 x 0.5 x 0.2

1 piece - 6.1 x 0.7 x 0.2

Drawer Section ( drawers do not open)

2 pieces - 1.8 x 1.6 x 0.2

1 piece - 5.7 x 1.8 x 0.2

2 pieces 5.3 x 0.7 x 0.2

Top of Drawers

1 piece - 6 x 2.2 x 0.3

1 piece - make it 1mm smaller than the piece above (5.9 x 2.1 x .03)

Arch Piece

2 pieces - 0.6 x 2.3 x 0.3

1 piece (make out of cardboard so it bends) 2.3 x 5.7 x 0.3

Cabinet Front Doors

2 pieces 7.4 x 2.5 x 0.2

Shelves

3 pieces - 4.4 x.1.5 x 0.1

Back wall of unit cut of cardboard

1 piece 5 x 6.5 x plus arched area center (height is 7.5)

You will need something that looks like mesh wire and beads for the handles and drawer knobs. You can use Acrylic paint to color the wood.
