Spring Cleaning vs Fall Cleaning

I like to give my yard not only a good spring cleaning, but also a major clean up in the fall in preparation for the holiday season. This usually mean not just raking all the fallen leaves, but cleaning out the tool shed and throwing away anything that is old and broken.

Since buying plants is a favorite past time of mine, the collection of stacked pots never ceases to amaze me. Recently while browsing through some old magazines I came across this pot rack and thought what a clever idea!

Any sort of show tower could easily be converted into a display stand for weathered pots. By nicely setting something like this up in a corner of a yard, it becomes a living sculpture as the elements work at it and serve as a nice storage unit making room for the garden shack for of course ~ more pots!
