Garden Decor
The California sun plays quiet a number on garden furniture and everything is so bleached out after one season that pillows and chair cushions have to be always renewed. Given that this annual ritual can get pretty expensive, I often sew new covers and look for one or two specialty items to add that extra "umph".
When I saw these super cute designs by Lesly on Etsy, I thought they would make a lovely addition to a garden, especially one were little kids are playing. I contacted Lesley and here is what she shared:
My name is Lesley and I’m a new gardener, mum and sewer in that order, working from my home in France. Originally from Scotland, I now live with my hard working, ever traveling husband and our daughter in a small hamlet overlooking a spectacular valley in the Pyrenees.
As a chef, I enthusiastically stuffed my garden full of more herbs than we’ll ever be able to eat. Combine that with a new found passion for picking up fabrics and little treasures and my Etsy shop, Leilalou was born. My current passions include appliques and embroidering wildflowers.
