Vintage Dollhouse Stove Work in Progress

I started on the vintage dollhouse stove and decided to take several aspects from each one of the images I showed you yesterday. Based on the small kitchen space this stove will only measure 8cm x 5.5cm x 5cm and will have 5 burners and an oven.

All the doors open so that some major baking can take place.  The black burners have silver toppers so when the stove is not in use it will look pretty.

I first made a design for the doors with paper clay, but was not happy with the look. After a quick trip to the fabric store I found buttons that had an old world feel to them. I removed the gismo in the back and made the backs flat and crazy glued the onto the door.

For the decorative trim I used the razor sharp cutting part of an old roll of tin foil paper. It adds just the right touch of silver to finish off the front of the stove.
