Shabby Chic Cottage Door - Free Printable PNG FILE

Shabby Chic Cottage

This shabby chic cottage door is so much fun to make and looks fantastic, especially if you work at it a bit with a little bit of embellishment here and there. The door can be used in miniature settings or as part of a card design. The PNG file is at 300 dpi to give you the best print quality.

To make the door you can download the free printable png file from here or by clicking at the link below. The print quality is best if you print the PNG file on Photo paper, since the colors will be more saturated and details more defined. If you print the door and cut it by hand the door should fit any 1/12 scale dollhouse.

With Cricut you are limited to size and you either have to scale the door down a bit (3"x6") by dragging the corners to the desired size or cut one size of the door off and print it separately. Don't forget to add a tabs you can glue both sides together. I made my door a bit smaller and was able to print it in one go.

After you print the file and have the image cut out, use some cardboard and cut it to size to fit inside the door. It makes the door sturdy and it is much easier to glue the tabs together. Use a marker in the color of the door to hide any white edges. The resulting door piece will look like a chocolate bar that can stand on it's own. Here I just placed it in an empty room box as a prop.
