I love to travel and to explore new places. On a recent trip to Utah we had a chance to enjoy the Montage Resort at Deer Valley. OMG - what a beautiful place to have a resort at! The Montage Resort is huge and with rooms looking out at the mountain and all those pine trees there are also plenty of places to sit and just take in the breathtaking views.
There is a certain sense of grandness yet the hotel feels cozy due to the warm tones of colors used in the decor. Rooms average about 600 square feet and offer rich estate-quality furnishings, commissioned artwork, comfortable sitting areas and gas fireplaces. Did I mention the breath taking views?

The hotel features a nice art collections as well with many paintings and sculptures created by local artists. You can see more of the artwork here. My favorite by far is the first statue you see as you enter the resort lobby.
The resort has also some great restaurants. We dined at the more casual Burgers and Bourbon. Burgers & Bourbon serves the best of America’s favorite classics including gourmet burgers, fresh cut fries, hand spun shakes, and has a huge collection of great tasting bourbons. Let's see - over 100 Bourbons and American Whiskeys, I think that's plenty. They even have spiked shakes, which looked incredible. I am reserving one of those for the next time I am at the resort.
The resort has a great spa as well and has several packages to choose from. I am already thinking about booking a ski package and being pampered after a full day on the slopes just sounds soooo amazing.
I love that the rooms have balconies as well. Regardless how cool it gets it is nice to be able to step outside and take in the fresh mountain air. I can't wait for winter and a chance to go back for some skiing and pampering.
