What dreams are made of

Light of the Harem Detail (by Portrait Artist - Enzie Shahmiri)

Lord Frederick Leighton traveled to the Orient for inspiration and upon returning set out to create a piece of the East in Britain. He transformed his entire home to look like a middle Eastern palace and filled it with all sorts of architectural elements that he had exported to Britain. His love  for the exotic transcended into the type of paintings he created in his studio in London.
