Painting of Artist by her father
These drawings and paintings by Cecile Baudry, show the work of one of the Academy Julian"s early female students. Cecile was the eldest daughter of the French painter Paul Baudry, who died in 1866. Cecile worked with Bouguereau in his studio at rue de Berri for six months, between 1901 and 1902. It appears that afterwards she continued her studies at the Academy Julian receiving awards for her drawings and paintings.
