One of highlights of our latest trip to San Fransisco was the new Eco friendly California Academy of Science Museum in San Fransisco. With a two-plus acre green roof resting atop a natural history museum, planetarium and rain forest, Renzo Piano's design is an incredible and innovative design fusing nature and exploration seamlessly into the backdrop setting of Golden Gate Park.
I was in awe of the rain forest. As you went through specially designed doors that prevented moisture loss, you made your way up a trail until you were above the trees looking down at colorful birds and an unending array of beautiful butterflies.
