Blind Dogs

My little Benji's eye sight is deteriorating fast. At this stage I believe he can see shadows, but when it gets dark he will just stand in place and cry until someone comes to his rescue.

So when I came across Angel Vest it was nice to see that someone has come up with a gizmo that can help blind dogs navigate their environment. Scooter, featured here was a 15 year old Miniature Schnauzer, who lost his sight due to inoperable diabetic cataracts. His owner created this halo vest to make life a bit easier for her pet. Now she has a web site with wonderful tips on how to live and assist a blind dog and sells the halo vest through special order.
