A Holland Lop is a very affectionate rabbit that likes to form a close, lasting bond with their owner. My Barley loves to interact and is not at all shy about expressing her feelings. She greets me when I enter the studio by making funny grunting noises and runs up to me and sits either near me or right on my lap if I sit on the floor. When she is not happy she completely ignores me and kicks her hind legs if I try to pick her up. In order to keep her very happy we have established a daily grooming routine and spend time just hanging out, even if it is just 5 minutes. I love her personality and sweet demeanor and am so happy to have adopted her from a shelter.
