I received a custom order request for a German Shepherd portrait painted in black and white. I am a huge one of monochrome paintings and did series of them a long time ago. So this request was a very welcome one. However I snug in some color just to punch it up in a very sneaky way.
This was a small painting and I did it while working in between larger scale paintings. My client send me a black and white photo of her dog that she wanted me to paint. Here is the before and after photo.
