If you are as much of a fun of Pilates as I am you might enjoy taking your exercise routine to a different level by using a Pilate Ring in your routine. The Pilate Rings are commonly used in Pilates to add intensity to floor exercises. The ring's resistance speeds up toning by targeting specific muscles. Especially useful in problem areas like the inner and outer thighs, upper arms, the chest and even the pelvic muscles.
Most rings like the Sport-it Pilate ring below have a 14 in diameter. This particular ring has sturdy foam handles, that do not slip while you exercise and press on the ring.

The ring comes in three colors, black, gray and purple and is made with environmentally friendly products. I have been using my rings by following the exercise video below and let me tell you I am feeling my thighs well after the exercise routine and love the feeling of actually engaging my muscles.
Mari boosts the effectiveness of her acclaimed "dynamic sequencing" technique by integrating a Sculpting Circle. It's a springy ring device that improves body position while adding both inward and outward resistance to regular Pilates moves (e.g. squeezing the circle between your legs helps engage your deepest abdominal muscles while maximizing the thigh-toning benefits).
