I went to see the Persian Ballet performed by Shahrokh Moshkin Ghalam ( Charles Galame ) at the Wilshire Ebel Theatre on Saturday, August 25th. This is the 1st time that Shahrokh brought his "Omar Khayyam" performance to Los Angeles. Just last fall, he was honored at The 2nd Golden Lioness Awards in Budapest Hungary and on Saturday he received a special award from Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa.
The performance featured Iranian dances in beautiful costumes, dancing to old Iranian tunes. Wouldn't this make a beautiful painting?!
