How to Remove Dirt from Suede Shoes using a Leather Brush

Leather Brush Cleaner

Shoes Lulu is sponsoring today’s post, but as always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.*ad

Nothing bums me out more than to find out that my suede shoes and boots have started to look worn and dirty. With a little patience, it is possible to bring your shoes back to their original good looks using a good suede leather brush. I found this great video that walks you through the step by step cleaning process.

Shoeslulu Intensive Care Suede & Nubuck 4 Ways Leather Brush

I received the Shoeslulu Intensive Care Suede Leather brush at a discounted rate in exchange for my unbiased review. I like that this brush comes with 4 different unique sides so you just need one brush to do multiple tasks.  Use the rubber section to gently scrub away embedded dirt and stains always taking care to brush in one direction only. Then use the copper wire brush to restore the nap of the material (You can brush in both directions a little more vigorously now).

A bit more about what the brush does:

 1. Effortlessly removes spots and stains from your favorite suede/nubuck boots, shoes, jackets, and even furniture! Works perfectly with any sprays, foams, erasers and cleaning kits

2. Gently carding the villus towards the same position with intensive caring copper wire from the welt surface side

3.For lighter gentler cleaning on thin fine suede/nubuck. Clean and brush off the dust and dirt with a soft rubber bristles side

4. For rounded corners and narrow edges, simply use the arched half circle rubber to clean. The thin protruding brush is built for cleaning on hard to reach crevices and grooves

5. Travel-Friendly Size (L x W x H): Approx. 6.3 x 1.6 x 1.2 inch. Safe Material: plastic, copper wire, and rubber.
