Beautiful Batik Shawl

The exact history of batik is uncertain, but  fragments of batik finds date back to the first century where it was discovered in ancient Egyptian tombs. Evidence of early Batik has also been found all over the Middle East, in India, Central Asia and Africa.

Batik 100% Silk Shawl, 'Wine Garden' by Yuni Kristina depicts an exuberant garden on wine red silk. A superb example of batik art, this shawl is a study in casual elegance. This shawl has such a beautiful color, is sheer and feels so incredible soft. The shawl, which can also be used as a wrap come with it's own batik bag, which I thought was a nice added touch.
