Protect your Pet with Spike Bite

Spike Service Dog Vest

Spike Bite is sponsoring today’s post, but as always, all thoughts and opinions are my own. Thanks for continuing to support brands that support me!

When you live in California, you know that Coyotes often sneak into backyards in search of food. No small animal is safe from these predators and I personally know of several neighbors who have lost a dear pet to these cunning hunters.

I am totally thrilled to find out that a dog owner in San Diego has created a protective vest for small animals and just have to share this notably wonderful discovery!

Spike bite is a vest that has spikes embedded in a vest. When another animal tries to bite your pet, the pressure causes discomfort to the attacking animal deterring them to bite down any harder and resulting in letting the victim go.

This means that your small dog can wear this protective vest not only while in the backyard but also at a dog park and safely interact with larger dogs as well.  The neon orange pads on the vest are great for spotting your pet at night time. The neoprene vest helps with anxiety, keeps the pet warm when it's cold and has enough airflow to keep the pet cool during warmer weather.

I love this idea and if my little Yorkie would still be alive, I would immediately purchase a vest. I think this is the best idea ever. If you like to learn more about this vest and purchase it visit Spike Bite.
