Doe and Fawn in a Thicket

Doe and Fawn in a Thicket

Rosa Bonheur (1822-1899) painted this Doe and Fawn in a Thicket and it reminded me of the photo a visitor to Art A Fair showed me. While dining at Tivoli Two, the restaurant on the grounds, he and his wife saw this doe and fawn coming down the slope that borders the restaurant to feed on the flowers that are planted along the waterfall.

Unbelievable! I never thought they would come this close to commercial areas. Yet there they were munching away!
