Roma

I thought it might be fun to share a couple of photos I took during my explorations throughout Rome.

My first impression was that of having stepped back in time. As you walk through the narrow alleys and especially once you enter the older parts of town it's like stepping back in time. There is just so much history here that make you wish the walls would start sharing some of the things they have witnessed.

However walking through the Colleseum left me with a profound feeling of sadness. Seeing were Romans held their captives and the beasts they would have to encounter in a fierce fight for their lives made you wonder why people can be so blood thirsty.
