Persian Norouz Festival
Sunday March 7th at Bowers Museum 11am-330pm
Norouz marks the 1st day of spring and the beginning of the year in the Persian-Iranian calendar. It's a time of visiting family and friends and celebrating new beginnings. It is said that whatever a person does on Norouz will affect the rest of their year.

So make sure to grab a friend or family member and come to the Bowers Museum to celebrate by enjoying traditional Persian dance, music and literature. There will be a beautiful Haft-see table,a uncle Norouz for the little ones and complimentary tea and sweets.

Iranians are encouraged to dress in Persian folk outfits and enjoy the festivities in a wonderful cultural exchange.
The event is co-sponsored by the Persian Cultural Art Council at the Bowers Museum.
