The other day nursing one of those headaches that last for three days, I finally said enough and headed for the stables for a little photo shoot.
This is where I met "Buck" a handsome horse, who was not at all camera shy. His owner had let him loose so he can run around, but all he wanted to do pose for me. It was the funniest thing!
He would start with a forceful kick of his hind leg and like a lightening bolt come towards me. With every click-click-click of the camera, my heart beat would resonate equally as loud. Precariously perched on a railing looking through the view finder all I could think was - ok either these will be great shots - or I will get run over!
My heart came to a screeching halt when I saw Buck sliding into a stop what seems like only inches away from my camera! Little did I know that Buck lives down the same street as I do - we are neighbors, which means that I need to visit with a couple of carrot treats and thank him and his owner for a adventurous afternoon!
