Kat Von D Make Up Review

I have large dark spots on my face and hiding them away has always been a big problem. I do not like to wear heavy make-up and covering the spots, yet retaining a natural look has always been an issue until I have had a chance to try out the Kat Von D Lock-It Concealer. A little dab goes a long way and does an excellent job covering up the dark spots. The colors are natural looking and they stay on all day long.

The Lock-It Edge concealer brush has soft bristles and does a great job blending the concealer into the surrounding areas. I like how soft the brush is and how I can control how much or how little of the concealer I want to move around. The handle is long and therefore easy to work with.

Once the concealer has been applied I used the setting powder. This is a light,  translucent loose powder, formulated with Micro-Blurring Technology™, to set and perfect for a flawless, locked-in finish. I absolutely love the translucent quality of this lightweight setting powder. Often powders can make a face look dull, but this powder adds a nice matte finish while setting the make-up underneath. I also like how natural the finished look is, so unlike anything I have tried before.

I applied and blended the setting powder with the Lock-It Precision Powder Brush. This long handles powder brush has very fine bristles that gently lift and distribute the powder to wherever you need it. I like that the brush gives me full control as to how much or how little powder I want to apply for a more natural finish. I never really realized what a difference a goof powder brush can make.

I received this products for review purposes and was so happy with them that I posted a selfie! You all know I hardly ever post selfies, but you had to see how well my dark spots are covered by this natural looking make-up.
