Exuviance Illumination Duo Review

This has to be the month for great beauty product finds! I recently received samples for the Exuviance Evening Restorative Complex, Vitamin C+Anti aging Booster plus the Performance Peel AP and was asked if I would write an honest review about the products. Let me start by saying that at this point my face looks as smooth as silk! Yup, you heard me right. I am stunned at the results of this months beauty products and their effects on my skin.

The Exuviance product line offers skin care products with the Duo - the Evening Restorative Complex and Vitamin C+ Antiaging Booster being a night time restorative regiment. Well regiment sounds more complex than it actually is. Before you go to bed you are supposed to pump a small amount of the Evening Restorative Complex into you hand. Then you add a bit of the Vitamin C+ anti aging booster and mix them together. The mix is then applied to the face with gentle strokes. You will notice how lovely it smells and how fast it is absorbed into the skin.

Exuviance Evening Restorative Complex

The Evening Restorative Complex works great on normal and combination skin types and does not feel heavy or greasy. 90% of test subjects in clinical trials reported that they saw smoother skin and a reduction in fine lines after 4 weeks of using the Exuviance Evening Restorative Complex.

But it gets even better. Remember I had mentioned the Performance Peel. Now that was absolutely amazing!

First I used the Activator Pad by applying it over my clean face. Directions said that your face should be dry and to take care to avoid any sensitive areas. It also warned that you should test the pad on a small area first to make sure that your skin does not react adversely. I am a chicken and at this point I was shaking in my booties, not quiet sure as to what I was getting myself into.

But I took a deep breath and started to wipe - and then ......

I was floored! My brown spots were getting lighter with every stroke. These are the same brown spots that came right back after the expensive laser peel! I could not believe what I was seeing and like a total maniac kept on rubbing away.  I almost forgot Step 2, which basically is a Neutralizing Pad to stop the wondrous peeling action. DO I HAVE TOO? was my response, but reason said yes, there are two more small samples to use. So I washed my face and afterwards lay in wait for family members to wake up.

As they made their way downstairs for breakfast, I asked them what they thought about my brown spots on my face and everyone said the make up is covering them well. What make-up?! I was not wearing any !  Enzie the skeptic is my name and if someone were to tell me that this product is awesome, my first response would be - yeah, yeah! So although I totally hate taking selfies I had to dig up an old photo from last year that showed the age spots still showing through tons of make-up and take a selfie of the spots now after using my latest beauty regiment and especially the peel. The spots are fading aren't they?!

Anyhow, now let's get to what I don't like. I am totally bummed that the company only send me three small samples to try!  It's an amazing product, but really the regular size would probably be much better to write about! Hint, hint :) The price for the Exuviance Illumination Duo is Retail $77 and the Exuviance Performance Peel Ap 25 $75.
