Horses have appeared in works of art throughout history, as far back as the Lascaux, Horse, c. Stone Age cave paintings. Kings and nobility often were shown with their horses in grand paintings, either in battle or hunting.

Horse ears 603

In the reference photo the eyes could not be seen, so I made sure to add more detail to the pupils. I also added more definition to the ears.
